The Oakland Raiders have officially announced their 10-man practice squad ahead of the start of the 2019 season. Here is a breakdown of each of these players.

The Oakland Raiders have officially made their final roster cuts and trimmed their roster down to an even 53 players. There were some difficult cuts to be made this summer with a number of position battles coming down to the wire.

But when the dust settled, 53 men remained and the Raiders had their finalized roster.

However, those 53 players won’t be the only individuals under contract with the Raiders this season. Oakland has officially announced the 10 players who will comprise their initial practice squad to start the season.

There will be some familiar faces and some unfamiliar faces. Some undrafted standouts and some disappointing former draft picks.

Either way, these young players give the Raiders some extra depth in case of injury and allow for further development so that they could still be parts of the future for the organization. It may not be a spot on the active roster, but it’s the next best thing.

With that, let’s take a look and briefly analyze the 10 players on the Raiders initial practice squad.
