4. Shooting

Stephen Curry, D’Angelo Russell, Klay Thompson, Alec Burks, Omari Spellman

The Warriors have always been famous for their shooting mainly because of the so-called ‘Splash Brothers’ of Curry and Thompson. The 2019-20 Warriors team should be no different because the Warriors have a lot of other players who can space the floor for them.

Besides Curry and Thompson, the Warriors also have Russell who can shoot threes at a high rate. Burks is also an experienced player who could fit well into this lineup as a knockdown shooter.

The key piece of this puzzle will be Spellman. Similarly to their bench lineup, the Warriors will hope that Spellman develops into an above-average shooter with them.

They’ll be hoping to use him as a stretch five in this lineup, giving them the option to play a five-out formation. This allows for maximum floor spacing and opportunities for drive and kick-outs.
