Golden State Warriors: Analyzing the various lineups the team could use
2. Bench
Jacob Evans, Alec Burks, Alfonzo McKinnie, Omari Spellman, Kevon Looney
This is their strongest lineup out of their non-starters with Glenn Robinson III available instead of Alfonzo McKinnie depending on the situation. They are all relatively young except for Alec Burks who is likely to be the leader in this second unit.
Burks should act as the de facto point guard on offense, however, Jacob Evans is more likely to guard the one on the defensive end.

All of these players except for Kevon Looney can shoot the three-ball efficiently, although Burks is really the only player who can create his own shot and shots for others.
Omari Spellman is the real wild card in this lineup. If he can have a breakout season then this lineup could be very successful.
He can space the floor, as well as run the post-split action. Spellman can go to work down low if the Warriors are struggling to find buckets anywhere else. He is a versatile big who could get major minutes if he continues to develop.
It is unlikely this lineup will get many minutes together aside from garbage time because the Warriors will likely stagger their all-stars’ minutes to keep at least one of them out there at all times.
