1. Starters

Stephen Curry, D’Angelo Russell, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Willie Cauley-Stein

The Warriors have a strong starting five that is based on excellent shooting and quickness in transition. They will rely on D’Angelo Russell to do much of the playmaking alongside Draymond Green.

With the addition of Russell to the lineup, Stephen Curry will be able to play off-ball much more, in a similar role to Klay Thompson but with increased usage. Willie Cauley-Stein will provide vertical spacing, rebounding, and rim protection.

More. Golden State Warriors: Alec Burks can be a triple threat. light

Russell and Curry will both need a lot of help on defense, but luckily they’ll have two of the best defenders in the league for that, in Green and Thompson (see how they can do it here).

Cauley-Stein will be their last line of defense, patrolling the paint, looking to swat or deter any shots on drives to the rim.
