Once Klay Thompson comes back, the Golden State Warriors will have one of the most top-heavy rosters in the league. They have a lot of talent in their starting five, but a considerably weaker bench, with a lot of young, inexperienced players.

Going into the 2019-20 season, the Golden State Warriors‘ roster is vastly different from last season’s, mainly because of their salary situation.

They have a very strong starting lineup and quite a young bench. The team will need to use their stars in various lineups in order to get the best out of their role players.

This is the Warriors’ projected 2019-20 roster heading into the upcoming season.

  • PG: Stephen Curry, D’Angelo Russell, Jacob Evans, Ky Bowman (TW)
  • SG: Klay Thompson, Alec Burks, Jordan Poole, Damion Lee (TW)
  • SF: Alfonzo McKinnie, Glenn Robinson III
  • PF: Draymond Green, Omari Spellman, Eric Paschall, Alen Smailagic
  • C: Willie Cauley-Stein, Kevon Looney

There are a lot of players on this depth chart that could have interchangeable positions. Some of the players listed above will not be featured in any of the following lineups although they may feature in some other lineups depending on how deep the Warriors go into their bench.

It’s also likely that some players will spend a significant portion of the season down in the G-league.
