Stock Up: Anthony Rush, NT

Anthony Rush is a name even the most diehard Raider fans probably never heard, but the undrafted free agent out of UAB managed to make a major impact on Saturday.

Rush is a nose guard which isn’t a position the team really has a need for with the likes of Johnathan Hankins and Justin Ellis. But he looked like a guy that wanted to make a football team.

If he keeps playing like this, he will at least make the practice squad.

While watching the game it would be hard to try an focus on a specific defender while he was in the game because you would regularly notice him making plays and taking your attention away from anyone else.

He finished the game with three tackles but made a lot of plays that didn’t show up on the stat sheet at the end of the night.
