Golden State Warriors: 3 depth options still available in free agency
By Justin Fried
2. Avery Bradley
This entry comes with an obvious caveat — that being that the Warriors can only offer out minimum contracts. And there’s absolutely no guarantee that Avery Bradley would agree to such a deal.
But if he were to agree, the Warriors can not pass that deal up under any circumstances.
After acquiring center Dwight Howard, the Memphis Grizzlies surprisingly opted to waive the veteran guard and he now becomes one of the highest-profile players still left on the market.

A first-round pick of the Boston Celtics back in 2010, Bradley has made a career out of being a standout defender which is just what the Warriors need in their backcourt. Neither Stephen Curry or D’Angelo Russell is regarded as a particularly good defender and the depth behind them is nearly nonexistent.
Bradley would step in and be perhaps the team’s best bench player while filling an incredibly important role on the team. With Thompson out nursing a torn ACL, the Warriors backcourt is in need of a reliable defender and Bradley would provide just that.
Plus his ball-handling skills and shooting abilities aren’t anything to scoff at either making him the perfect signing for the Warriors. The only thing keeping him from being ranked No. 1 on this list is the lower odds of the signing being able to happen.
Regardless, if the Warriors could make this come to fruition, it would be perhaps their best value move of the entire offseason.
*Update: Bradley has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers*
