Kevin Labanc

Besides showing confidence in running the power play, Kevin Labanc is one potential candidate to not be in a Sharks sweater next season. He is not consistent at even strength and often unable to contribute on a nightly basis.

Joonas Donskoi

The most likely member to not return, often being a healthy scratch after runs of not scoring goals or even points. Given he has excellent playmaking skills with the puck, Joonas Donskoi is not executing or making enough attempts to drive to the net and fire one past the goaltender.

Gustav Nyquist

A free-agent this summer, Gustav Nyquist may be finding another home after falling off the radar in the final games of the conference final. Nyquist did face a small timeframe of adjusting to his new teammates, but the hopes of his playmaking from Detroit did not come at critical points for the Sharks.

Overall, the forward pairings were some of the best seen over the years for the Sharks. Goal production was no problem during the season. The one area which derailed the Sharks in the playoffs was special teams as the power play fizzled.

Even with expected turnover, the Sharks should have a great foundation of forwards heading into next season.
