Golden State Warriors: Top 3 storylines and NBA Finals preview/prediction
By Justin Fried
Final Thoughts and Prediction
The success of the Raptors in this series is going to hinge on just how far Leonard can take them. The Warriors are the superior team in seemingly every way. Even outside of Leonard, the likes of Kyle Lowry, Marc Gasol, and Pascal Siakam just don’t match up with the talent that the Warriors offer.

There is no one to match up with Stephen Curry and guard him on defense. Even Danny Green on his best day isn’t going to go shot for shot with Klay Thompson. If Leonard slows down even a little bit, Toronto will have no hope in this series.
Neither team is particularly deep with their bench, but the Warriors should have the edge in that regard, especially once they get their stars back from injury. The Raptors could have a chance if Fred VanVleet and Norman Powell could get hot shooting with the second unit but the Warriors could respond with their own bench shooter in Quinn Cook.
Ultimately, if Leonard keeps up this absurd level of play, this is a series that could certainly go seven games. And if that happens, a home Game 7 for the Raptors could spell trouble for Golden State.
Fortunately, I just don’t see it getting that far.
The Warriors wrap it up in six games and win their third straight NBA Championship in the final game in Oracle Arena.
