3. Draymond Green vs. Pascal Siakam

Simply put, Draymond Green has been phenomenal in these playoffs. Green has been the heart and soul of the Warriors team recording triple-doubles in back-to-back games to end the Trail Blazers series.

The three-time NBA All-Star has recorded double-digit rebound totals in each of his last nine games, double-digit point totals in nine of his last 11, and averaged nearly three blocks per game throughout the Western Conference Finals.

He’s been Golden State’s swiss-army knife playing a variety of roles on offense and defense all the while serving as the team’s emotional leader on the court. After a disappointing regular season, people are now beginning to remember just how good Green is.

However, his opposition in the finals could prove to be his toughest test yet in this postseason.

Toronto’s Pascal Siakam is fresh off a breakout 2018-19 season which will almost certainly culminate in a “Most Improved Player of the Year” award. Siakam is a high-impact, high-energy defender who has been putting up better offensive stats than Green but has been overall less consistent.

It will be asking a lot of Siakam to match the level of play that Green has been playing at, but it might be imperative to the Raptors success that he does so.
