Golden State Warriors Playoffs: How to watch, livestream, betting odds, & more
By Justin Fried
The Golden State Warriors playoffs will resume today as they take on the Houston Rockets in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
The Golden State Warriors ran into a little bit of trouble in the first round of the 2019 NBA playoffs — at least more than was expected — but ultimately defeated the Los Angeles Clippers four games to two.
Now, a different, perhaps more daunting challenge awaits them in the second round.
The Houston Rockets entered the postseason as the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference and came out on top of their first-round matchup with the Utah Jazz four games to one. They will be on four days rest having finished up their series on Wednesday night. However, the Warriors will enter Sunday’s game on just two days rest and nursing a couple of injuries.

Both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will enter the Rockets series coming off sprained ankles suffered during the tail-end of the Clippers series and neither are expected to be at full strength at the start of the series. While Curry is expected to play, Thompson is still considered a game-time decision at the time of writing.
The health status of the Warriors backcourt will be an important storyline to watch as the series unfolds. As will the ability of the team to guard Rockets star James Harden. The surefire future Hall of Famer didn’t play up to his standards in the first round, but Houston will undoubtedly be relying on him to carry the team in this series.
For the Dubs, all eyes will be on Kevin Durant who has been the focal point of the Warriors team in the playoffs up to this point. Durant dropped 50 in the team’s Game 6 clinching victory and put up 45 the previous game.
At the same time, the Warriors had some difficulties scoring against Houston’s switching defense last year in the postseason so it will be up to Durant to capitalize on the isolation he might find himself in.
With that, let’s run down some key information you must know ahead of the Warriors second-round matchup.
