Golden State Warriors Playoffs: How to watch, livestream, betting odds, & more
By Justin Fried
Golden State Warriors playoffs will kick off this Saturday night when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers and begin their quest for another NBA Championship.
The 2019 NBA Playoffs are about ready to begin and the Golden State Warriors will enter the postseason taking on the Los Angeles Clippers in their first-round matchup.
The Warriors finished the regular season with a record of 57-25, good for the top seed in the Western Conference, but still giving the team their worst record since the 2013-14 season. But none of that matters now and the Warriors will enter the playoffs riding a bit of momentum having won six of their last seven games.
As for the Clippers, they finished the season with a 48-34 record, which in the Western Conference somehow placed them as the No. 8 seed. These two teams last met in the first round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs when the Clippers actually defeated the Warriors in seven games.
Needless to say, Golden State will be looking for revenge this year.
With that, let’s run down some key information you must know ahead of the Warriors first-round matchup.

On paper, this series appears to be one of the more predictable outcomes in the entire first round of this year’s NBA playoffs. The Warriors enter still very much one of, if not the most dominant team in the league and should face little resistance from a good, but not great Clippers team.

Los Angeles will have to rely on the likes of Lou Williams to lead the team in the scoring department. The 32-year-old veteran is averaging 20.0 points per game coming off the bench as the team’s sixth-man and has been the spark plug in many games for the Clippers this year.
Expect the Warriors to rely more on their big men with the Clippers being a good defensive team on the perimeter but not so much down low. DeMarcus Cousins will be playing in his first career playoff game and could be given ample opportunity to be the difference maker in this one.
Of course, expect the likes of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson to do their part as well.
The outcome seems obvious on paper, but we won’t know the results until the games are played. But one thing is for sure, Warriors playoffs are back and the coming weeks should be very exciting as Golden State looks to capture yet another NBA Championship and further establish their dynasty.
