With 2019 NFL Free Agency just over a month away, now is the right time to make some predictions for what the Oakland Raiders will accomplish this offseason.

The Oakland Raiders have a huge hill to climb in the coming months. With Jon Gruden’s grand plan still taking shape and plenty of needs to fill throughout the roster, it’s going to be imperative for this franchise as a whole to take a significant step forward in the coming months.

That all starts during 2019 NFL Free Agency, when the Raiders will be looking to make some noticeable upgrades to one of the league’s thinnest roster. While we knew they weren’t going to be contenders this past season, the lack of talent and playmaking ability (especially on defense) was nearing jaw-dropping levels.

So what can we expect from the Raiders when early March arrives? No one outside of the organization knows for sure, but we can certainly speculate as we inch closer to the madness that is NFL free agency. As it so happens, that’s exactly what I’m planning on doing here.

Just keep in mind that I’ll be looking to make feasible predictions. While the Raiders have plenty of cap space to work with, the amount of appeal they possess at this moment is questionable at best. There will certainly be some top free agents turned off by the overwhelming amount of instability at this moment.

So here they are — my (somewhat realistic) predictions for the Raiders during 2019 NFL Free Agency. It’s anyone’s guess what the team has planned for continuing Gruden’s rebuild, but this offseason could be a turning point for the Silver and Black.
