If the Oakland Raiders plan on being any bit relevant next season, they’d be wise to target these big-name players during 2019 NFL Free Agency.

Put simply, the Oakland Raiders were a hot mess in 2018. At this point, I’m a bit baffled they’ve managed to win as many games as they have. Jon Gruden’s rebuild has taken a heavy toll on the amount of talent they’ve been able to field on a weekly basis.

Making a wave or two during 2019 NFL free agency would be a big step towards returning to relevance, though.

Thankfully for Gruden and his Raiders, that shouldn’t be too difficult with the amount of cap space that could be available when the new league year begins in March. According to Spotrac.com, Oakland is currently slated to have about $75.2 million to work with next year. Suffice it say, that’s more than enough dough to make a dent in the Raiders’ various roster needs.

So which big-name players could be on their radar when free agency begins? With plenty of needs to fill and a number of stars scheduled to be available, the Raiders will have plenty of opportunities to refine their roster before what could be a pivotal 2019 campaign. For now, though, all we can do is speculate on their potential targets.

So without further ado, here are the three big names I believe the Raiders could/should target during 2019 NFL free agency. Keep in mind, though, that some of these players may not even become available, instead either re-signing with their current team or receiving the franchise tag.
