2. Raiders actually manage 3 sacks in a game

To say that the Raiders have been awful at hunting quarterbacks this season would be an understatement. Let’s just say upgrading the pass rush is priority numero uno this offseason, as our own Kevin Saito recently pointed out.

Through 13 games, they’ve managed to rack up only 11 sacks — that’s the worst total in the league by a very wide margin. The second-lowest total in the NFL is owned by the Miami Dolphins, who currently boast 22 sacks on the year. Yes, the Raiders have really failed that miserably at putting pressure on passers in 2018.

Unfortunately for the Bengals, that won’t be the case on Sunday.

Aided by the presence of a young, inexperienced quarterback in Driskel, the Raiders will find a way to tally three sacks in Week 15. That doesn’t really seem all that impressive on the surface, but it is when you consider that all other 31 NFL clubs have at least double the amount of sacks Oakland has this season.

With Arden Key working off the edge and Maurice Hurst collapsing the pocket up the middle, the Raiders will find a way to make Driskel’s life miserable. It won’t be easy with both teams running the ball so well (see previous slide), but defensive coordinator Paul Guenther will make it happen with some clever play calling and a little luck.
