Oakland Raiders vs Cincinnati Bengals: Bold predictions for Week 15

The Oakland Raiders head to Ohio to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. These bold predictions should provide some excitement for what’s turned out to be a rather lackluster matchup.

The 2018 NFL season is winding down. Many of the league’s less-than-competitive teams are already out of the playoff hunt, or are at least nearing the end of their pursuit. At this point, both the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders fit into one of those categories.

It’s been a rough go of things for the Raiders during Jon Gruden’s first season in town. After a couple of questionable trades and a slew of early-season letdowns, there were calls for the old ball coach’s job. We’ve seen improvement over the last month or so, but more work is needed if the Raiders are to return to relevance anytime soon.

As for the Bengals, it’s also been a season to forget. Things looked like they were headed in the right direction, as Cincinnati started the year at 5-3. After five straight losses, though, it’s safe to say you can stick a fork in ’em. Now it’s just a matter of figuring out where the franchise goes from here.

For now, let’s focus on the immediate future. In particular, I’m talking about the showdown between these two clubs on Sunday.
