1. SF Andre Iguodala

For the longest time, Andre Iguodala was the glue that held the Warriors’ championship hopes together. Now, with an overpriced contract and a fading game, he’s become a thorn in the side of this cap-strapped Golden State franchise.

Hence, he finds himself atop this list of the Warriors’ top trade candidates.

Right now, Iguodala is making far too much money. Bringing in $16 million in 2018-19 and another $17.2 million in 2019-20, he’s causing major problems for the Warriors’ bookkeepers. Especially with the repeater tax figuring to do a number on Joseph Lacob’s bank account, paying $17.2 million to a washed-up veteran isn’t ideal.

The only problem is figuring out how to convince another team to take on Iguodala and that extra year of excessive spending. They could throw in their 2019 first-round pick to help find a trade partner, but that could make reloading next offseason all the more difficult. Regardless of the difficulty, you better believe Myers will explore his options.

It’s been a great run for Iguodala, who now has three rings to show for his efforts. The Bay Area has been very good to the 34-year-old forward, but his days of being an asset off the bench are nearly over. Don’t be surprised if the Warriors at least put out feelers for possible buyers.
