Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch is teaming up with Skittles, his signature candy, to deliver a sweet treat to fans.

If you’re a fan of Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch, you are probably well acquainted with not just his sweet tooth, but what he throws down to appease that craving for sugar – Skittles.

Lynch’s love affair with the small fruity treats is long and well documented. Back, when he was in Seattle, cameras loved catching him on the sidelines throwing down a handful or two.

Well, apparently, Skittles is now giving you a chance to pick up a rare commodity – Beast Mode-themed Skittles.

Lynch’s obsession with the fruit flavored candy became public fodder back in his days running the ball for the Seattle Seahawks. It was just one more quirk to his already growing, quirky – sometimes enigmatic – personality.

People, for whatever reason, were so charmed by Lynch’s love of Skittles, and it became such a “thing,” that back in 2014, the Wrigley Company (who own the Skittles brand) seized on an opportunity to monetize the running back’s love for their candy, by signing an endorsement deal with the potential future Hall-of-Famer.

In honor of that partnership, Skittles produced the limited edition, “Seattle Mix” of their candies in tribute to Lynch. Rather than “Tasting the Rainbow,” people who got their hands on that limited edition item, were throwing down blue and light green-colored candies – a nod to the Seahawks’ uniform colors.

As a gesture of generosity, Skittles also donated $10,000 dollars to Lynch’s Fam First Family Foundation, for every touchdown he scored that season. That season, Lynch put in a career-high 13 touchdowns, earning $130,000 grand for his foundation.

Well, this year, Skittles is back again and is honoring Lynch with his very own bag of the fruity candy. Rather than just team colored candy nuggets though, Skittles is putting out a special package with Beast Mode himself, as well as his signature, gracing it.

But, before you rush down to the store to grab yourself a bag of “Marshawn’s Pack,” you should know that you’re not going to find them in stores. No, these four-ounce “share-size” bags are going to be a very limited edition, collector’s item.

How limited? Skittles will only be producing 2,400 of these bags in total. 2,400. That’s it. The 2,400 being a nod to his number 24 jersey number, of course.

So, how do you go about claiming one of these collector’s items if they’re not in stores? Well, you just go to the website, MarshawnsPack.com, register yourself, sit back, cross your fingers, hope, and pray that you’re one of the lucky ones picked.

Also, Lynch himself will be handing out a limited number of bags at the Raiders upcoming home game against the Green Bay Packers. There’s no word if he’ll be actually handing the candy packs to fans, or firing them out of the prize cannon.

Lynch, as he Tweeted out, is excited about the partnership and the promotion. And of course, about his favorite candy. Now, he’s giving you a chance to get a little something out of it too – that is, if you’re one of the lucky 2,400 chosen people.

So, if you’re looking for a special, commemorative, Beast Mode-approved, sweet treat, head on over to the website Skittles has put together, throw your name in the hat, and keep your fingers crossed! Good luck!
