Oakland Raiders: Three linebackers the team can draft after the first round
Josey Jewell, Iowa
The two prospects in the previous slides were fairly similar. Both were outside linebackers prospects who could be taken in the second round.
Josey Jewell is quite different. Jewell will be a later round pick, likely taken around the fourth round, and is far from the athlete that the previous two players.
Jewell began his college play at a Division III school, before he was noticed and recruited by Iowa. Jewell possesses very average athleticism but put up great production in college.
In his senior year he put up 134 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, and 11 pass break ups. This season also earned him a spot on the AP First Team All-American defense, as well as the All-Big Ten defense.
He has the production and technique you would normally see in a higher round pick, but his lack of athleticism will be responsible for a huge fall on draft day.

Jewell has the potential to be one of those players who have always been doubted because of his lack of speed and size, but will make it because of hard work and perfect technique. He is worth a later round pick to play middle linebacker.
