Oakland Raiders: Five potential bellweather games to circle on the calendar

Week Six vs. Seattle Seahawks (@Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London)
While the Raider Nation certainly does travel well, the Raiders, as a team, don’t seem to travel all that well at all.
Since the inception of the International Series, the Raiders have compiled a 1-2 record, getting thumped by the Dolphins 38-14 in London’s Wembley Stadium, and having New England thrash them 33-8 in Estadio Azteca in Mexico City last year.

Their only regular season international win came against the Houston Texans in Mexico City back in the 2016 season.
But, they’ll get a shot to even their record at 2-2 with a “home” date against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in an October 14 match in London’s shiny new Tottenham Hotspur stadium – a stadium the NFL helped design and fund to accommodate the Hotspur matches, but also regular season NFL games.
It is, of course, no more important than any other game on the schedule, but it would do the Raiders well to travel far and come up with a big win.
The Seahawks are in a state of flux of their own, but they are still a dangerous opponent. One that the Raiders absolutely cannot afford to take lightly. Nor, can they afford to travel all that way, only to stink up the joint once they get there.
Being able to travel that distance, play well, and come away with a big win, could do very well for this team and help them build (or keep) sustained momentum for the rest of the regular season.
