Oakland Raiders: Exploring a few potential Draft Day trade scenarios

Arizona Cardinals
Though they’ve added Sam Bradford, Brandon Doughty, Mike Glennon, and Alek Torgersen, the Cardinals may very well still be searching for a long-term solution. Especially, in light of Bradford’s injury history, and Glennon’s history of ineffectiveness.

Sitting at number fifteen in the draft order, it would seem to be a deal that makes sense for both sides — the Raiders move down five spots and can very likely still get a guy near the top of their own draft board. Plus, they’ll add some capital to their haul, likely Arizona’s second-round pick (at least).
Though they could try to squeeze the Cardinals for more, for the sake of argument though, let’s say the Raiders move down five spots and add Arizona’s second-round pick to their own haul. That would give them picks at fifteen, forty-one, and forty-seven overall.
That’s not a bad place to start re-stocking a roster that has some holes to fill and needs some depth in key positions — most notably on the defensive line, cornerbacks group, linebackers, and even wide receiver.
That should be able to net them a decent class of rookies who can step in and have a pretty immediate impact. If that deal came to fruition, the Raiders could address several positions of need and solidify spots on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
