Draft season is upon us, and it is time to take a look at where the Oakland Raiders need to use their selections to ensure they find success in 2018.

With the NFL Draft a mere two weeks away, it is time to take a deep dive into how the Oakland Raiders should spend their upcoming draft capital. At the moment, the team’s roster is in a fairly good state, but that does not mean its perfect. In fact, it is far from that.

On paper, the team has three glaring needs. These include right tackle, cornerback and outside linebacker. Outside of those three positions, there isn’t many other spots that if they are not addressed the team will suffer.

But these three weaknesses are major weaknesses that they must absolutely address in the draft, or the team will struggle mightily because of them.

Luckily the team has a very high draft pick along with a large number of picks in general. This will allow them to sure up these three roster holes with their first three picks, then add a solid amount of depth as the draft goes on.

The main question will be, which route does the team decide to embark upon with the tenth overall pick? There will be elite players available at each of the three previously mentioned positions, the decision will come down to whichever of these top tier prospects the front office is the most in love with.

Some of these players will include linebackers Roquan Smith and Tremaine Edmunds, tackle Mike McGlinchey, and cornerbacks Josh Jackson and Isaiah Oliver, assuming Denzel Ward is already gone by that point. In the end, whichever player the team chooses to select will likely not be a bad choice.

Now that we have the table set and now the possible ways the draft may go for Oakland, it is time to theorize. Here are three players the Raiders should select in the 2018 NFL Draft to fill their remaining roster holes.
