The Oakland Raiders are getting set to start what should be an intriguing free agency period, so, let’s take a look at the best FA moves during Reggie McKenzie’s tenure.

The Oakland Raiders, like many teams around the league, have a lot of holes to fill on their roster. Though, there is some debate in certain corners about which holes are the most pressing and which should be addressed first.

With Jon Gruden returning to helm the ship, it should be interesting to see what he prioritizes when the free agency window opens.

Over the course of his tenure as the head man in Oakland’s front office, GM Reggie McKenzie has made a lot of moves. Some of those moves have paid off. Some haven’t.

And others, have been downright disasters – and fans have never let him live those down.

However, fair is fair, and credit where credit is due – McKenzie has made some terrific move that have, and in some cases, continue, to pay big dividends for this team.

So, while we look ahead and look forward to seeing what direction McKenzie and Gruden take this team when the free agency window opens, it might be interesting to take a look back and see where we’ve been.

We’ll get to the other side of the ledger soon enough, but for this article, we’re going to take a look at the best moves McKenzie has made in free agency during his tenure as the organization’s General Manager.
