Sam Dyson’s Cat, Snuckles

When Sam Dyson came over to the Giants from the Texas Rangers, the hope was that he could turn his season around and become a stalwart in the Giants’ bullpen. He did just that, filling in admirably as the team’s closer when Mark Melancon was in-dispose. But the Giants got a little more than they were hoping for from Dyson.

Not only did they get a solid pitcher, they got a new team pet in the deal. Dyson brought with him Snuckles, his pet cat that has become huge on social media. Snuckles has his own Instagram account, where you can find him dressed as a shark, dressed as a pirate, and enjoying the outfield grass at AT&T Park.

Watch out, Skeeter, there’s a new cat in town.
