The Oakland Raiders have a host of undrafted free agents in camp looking to make the final 53-man roster – here are six who have a solid shot at it.

The Oakland Raiders – after choosing to primarily upgrade the offense via free agency and going heavy on the defensive side of the ball in the NFL Draft – still have some areas of need that need to be addressed if this team is to take another step forward.

Over his tenure, Raiders General Manager Reggie McKenzie has done a pretty good job of mining talent from the ranks of the undrafted free agents. The Raiders have had – and still have – a number of highly productive UDFA’s wearing their jersey who are providing the team with some solid production.

The UDFA market is most definitely not one that should be taken lightly or overlooked.

The majority of UDFA’s in camp for the Raiders are on the defensive side of the ball. Which is a good thing in that the plug to fix the holes in Oakland’s defense may already be in place. But it also shows that McKenzie is very aware of the shortcomings on that side of the ball and may be more than a little concerned by it.

The Raiders still have some big-time needs on the defensive side of the ball – interior linebackers, depth at the corners, and along the defensive line primarily. But this year might include a bumper crop of new talent as the Raiders have a number of potential playmakers in camp.

There are no guarantees of course, and it’s always an uphill battle to win a job when you’re not drafted, but here is a look at a few UDFA’s who could potentially make a big enough impression in camp to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.
