It’s bad enough that Oakland continues to feel the sting of former owner Wally Haas letting San Jose shift from shared territory to the Giants so they could pursue a move to the South Bay. It’s insult added to injury to have key players pass through Oakland on their way to helping San Francisco build a dynasty. This time, former A’s ace Tim Hudson joins Casilla in the World Champion Beane Alumni Club. While we’re going down painful stretches of Memory Lane, let’s try and pretend that the Hudson for Juan Cruz, Dan Meyer and Charles Thomas trade with the Atlanta Braves never happened in 2004.
