Jonny Gomes, Craig Breslow and Stephen Drew all went from donning green and gold for Beane to finding their ways to an end-of-season champagne shower with Boston. You’re welcome – again – Beantown. At least Breslow served as a useful trade chip when the A’s packaged him with Trevor Cahill in the 2011 deal with the Diamondbacks that brought back key 2012 AL West champion contributors Jarrod Parker and Ryan Cook.
