The Oakland Raiders are hoping to parlay a fantastic offseason into a monster regular season. To do that, they’ll need big contributions from big time players.

The Oakland Raiders have had a tremendous offseason. One that has the organization as well as it’s devoted fanbase talking – realistically, this year – about a division title and a postseason berth. And given Oakland’s improvement – far surpassing anything their AFC West rivals have done this offseason – it’s hard to dismiss that optmism out of hand. There seems to be something big brewing in the East Bay and it could end Oakland’s decade plus run of futility.

With a bevy of young superstars in the making, as well as a group of savvy, hungry veterans, the Raiders have a tremendous mix of talent. In fact, this is arguably, the most talented roster top to bottom the Raiders have had in a decade and a half.

But it’s going to be whether or not this team can come together and have its best players make big plays when needed that’s going to determine their fortunes when the regular season rolls around. And make no mistake about it, the Raiders are going to need big contributions from all 53 men on their roster.

But there are some players on the roster who are going to have to play even bigger. They are going to have to lead this team with their play on the field. Some are youngsters, some are veterans, but all of them will need to step up and play big this coming season if the Raiders are going to find the sort of success they – and the Raider Nation – are envisioning for this team in 2016.
