Oakland Raiders: Round One Draft Day Fan Poll

The Oakland Raiders are set to go in the 2016 NFL Draft – we’re polling fans to see who they want to see the team select at number fourteen.
Oakland Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie is feeling the pressure of not drafting inside the top five for the first time in his tenure. And there is a lot riding on this year’s draft. Pick the right guy, and you keep building the momentum the team has been building. Pick the wrong guy and – well – it’s best not to think about that.
There is a lot of talent on the board in tonight’s first round of drafting action. But the question is – where will McKenzie, who holds the fourteenth overall pick, opt to spend that? For all of their upgrades, the Raiders do still have a few areas of need – a run stuffing/pass defending inside linebacker comes to mind.
Unlike past drafts, while there are areas of need for the team, there aren’t any huge, glaring holes to fill. Unlike past drafts, they can afford to draft for depth and development. Though, make no mistake, there are plenty of guys on the board who can step in and contribute on day one.

The Raiders have been connected to plenty of names in countless mock drafts. Ezekiel Elliott. Jack Conklin. Reggie Ragland. William Jackson III. Myles Jack. Robert Nkemdiche The only consensus about who the Raiders are going to be selecting is that there is no real consensus at this point. Reggie could literally go a dozen different ways with the pick and turn out just fine.
Fans have definite ideas on who they’d like to see cross that stage and take the Silver and Black jersey. And many of them are passionate about who they’d select. Some of the draft picks from fans would be great additions to the team and help elevate it to another level. Other fan draft picks – well – not so much. But it’s always fun to see where everybody stands.
So with just a little less than an hour to go until the 2016 NFL Draft gets underway – and a probably a couple of hours yet until the Raiders are officially on the clock, let’s see where you stand.
