Now that the Golden State Warriors’ magical regular season is in the books, we take a look at their possible path to a second straight NBA title.

The 2015-2016 NBA regular season is in the books. The Golden State Warriors followed up an unbelievable championship season with one even more magical—one that could have never been imagined by even the most sanguine of Warriors faithful.

The Warriors now stand alone as the most successful regular season team in NBA history, besting the record set by the iconic 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls team who went an unfathomable 72-10 led by Michael Jordan.

After a 125-102 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night, the unimaginable has become a reality as the Warriors finished the regular season with a mind-numbing 73-9 regular season record. Not only have they set the new all-time wins record, the Warriors also set NBA records by not losing back-to-back games all season, not losing to a single opponent more than once, and still hold the record for most consecutive home wins at 54.

While all of this is cause for celebration, the journey is far from over as we are still two months away from an NBA champion being crowned. With that being said, lets take a look at the road that the Dubs will likely have to take if they wish to hoist up a second straight Larry O’Brien
