2016 NFL Combine Wrap-Up: Stanford Cardinal
Kyle Murphy, Offensive Lineman
Measurables:
Height: 6’6″
Weight: 305 lbs.
Arm Length: 33-1/2″
Hand Size: 9-3/4″
Murphy tied for the third-tallest lineman at the Combine, but weighed in six pounds under the average weight. His arms are slightly shorter than average, but just by just about one-tenth of an inch. His hands are much smaller than average, by more than an inch-and-a-half.
Drills (position ranking in parentheses):
Bench Press (225 pounds): 23 (24/46)
Murphy put up 225 pounds 23 times, just one below the average lineman at the Combine. Because of a hamstring injury he suffered last week, Murphy didn’t participate in any of the timed drills. He says he will wait until the Stanford pro day (March 17th) to run those drills. It could have an impact on his future draft status.
