Weight: 218 lbs.
Arm Length: 32-3/8″
Hand Size: 10-1/4″
Kevin Hogan possesses average height for quarterbacks in the Combine, but is below average in terms of girth. His weight of 218 pounds matches his listed official weight for the 2015 season. Hogan’s arms are slightly below average in length, but his hands are about half an inch longer than normal.
Drills (position ranking):
40-Yard Dash: 4.78 (4/17)
Vertical Leap: 32.5″ (5/18)
Broad Jump: 113″ (9/17)
3-Cone Drill: 6.90 (4/15)
Hogan showed a very nice amount of athleticism, making himself look really good. He recorded one of the best 40-yard times for quarterback, and finished in the top-five in the vertical leap and three-cone drill. He wasn’t afraid to show his abilities out of the pocket in college, and that translated well to those drills.
He received a lot of praise from the announcers, who called him one of the most poised quarterbacks of the bunch. His awkward delivery, like a baseball pitcher that throws short arm, will probably need some tweaking at the next level, but he showed a solid amount of accuracy and timing in the passing drills. Hogan is a sleeper in the upcoming draft, but his stock should be on the rise.
