The most entertaining portion of the NFL Combine may be when NFL Network Rich Eisen runs the 40-yard dash, but it’s certainly worth watching the events which lead up to that. Every year, hundreds of college athletes who hope to become NFL players take part in this week-long spectacle, and their results can have an effect on their status in the draft.

The three Division-I Bay Area schools are sending a combined 14 players to the week-long event. The Stanford Cardinal will have six representatives, the California Golden Bears will have five, and the San Jose State Spartans will have three. Every one of those players are looking to make a lasting impression in front of NFL scouts.

These guys aren’t the headliners in the Combine, or even from their respective schools in some cases, but they all deserve a watchful eye when the festivities start.
