Prediction

Now that we have gone over each of the last 30 games that the Warriors will play this season, what will their record be once the regular season concludes?

Best case scenario: 75-7
If the Warriors can manage to win the rest of their games against lottery teams, it is not impossible to envision them only dropping three more games the rest of the season. They have only lost four games through over 60 percent of their season, with the hardest part of their schedule behind them. It will not be easy, but it is possible to beat the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls record by three games.

Realistic Expectations: 73-9
At this point, the Warriors have a great chance to break the Bulls record, but realistically speaking, it’s hard to say they will only lose three more games all year. Fatigue will start to set in, injuries are always a possibility, and as we get closer to the post season, it wouldn’t surprise me if head coach Steve Kerr begins to give some of the key players some rest games. With that in mind I think losses against the Clippers, Thunder, and Spurs are very real possibilities, with the other two losses coming on bad shooting nights against inferior opponents (Look for the games in Utah and in Memphis as possibilities).

With all of that in mind, it is no dream. The Golden State Warriors are on their way in to the history books. Whether they get to 73 or not, the ultimate goal of winning another title remains. After all, the regular season means nothing once the playoffs start.
