March 27-April 3: Nearing the End

The Warriors will likely begin their final 10 games of the season with a pretty impressive record. At this point they may even be closing in on history. With such a few amount of games to go, they will be looking to buckle down, and finish out the year strong before the playoffs begin.

Game 21: Philadelphia 76ers
After falling apart and nearly losing against the eight-win 76ers back in January, Barnes saved the Warriors from complete embarrassment as he hit a game winning corner three just before the buzzer in their 108-105 win in Philadelphia. The Warriors will not want this game to be in any doubt, and it wouldn’t shock anyone if this game was over by half time.

Game 22: Washington Wizards

The Wizards will make their one and only appearance at Oracle Arena on March 29th with one thing in mind: “Don’t let Stephen Curry beat us.” The last time these two teams played, Curry went for 51 points, almost breaking the three-pointers in a single game record, coming up one shy. The Wizards gave the Warriors a game, making it competitive up until the final minutes. With this game being at home, don’t expect the Warriors to drop this one.

Game 23: At Utah Jazz

The very next night, the team will fly for a stop in Utah. This will be the final game against the Jazz this season, and the last time the Warriors were in Salt Lake City, they nearly suffered their first loss of the season. On the second night of a back-to-back, this could be a trap game, but nevertheless, it should be another tally in the win column.

Game 24: Boston Celtics

This game will be of special importance, as long as Celtic’s forward David Lee doesn’t receive a buy-out of his contract before the game on April 1st. That is because this will be Lee’s first trip to Oracle since winning the title with his former team last summer. If things keep going how they are now, Lee likely won’t see much playing time, but after the Celtics lost in double overtime back in December, they will want revenge.

Game 25: Portland Trail Blazers

Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers will make another trip to the Bay Area on April 3rd. As I said before, the Blazers are currently fighting for a playoff spot. This late in the season, they will be giving each team they face everything they’ve got, including Golden State. However, I can’t see a scenario where the Blazers beat them at home.
