February 27-March 7: Heading Home

The Warriors will have three of their next five games at home after playing the Thunder. After not seeing Oracle Arena since February 9th. Something tells me they’ll be excited to be back home.

Game 6: At Oklahoma City Thunder

This is another game that could spell trouble for the Warriors. In their last game against the Thunder on February 6th, the Warriors were able to pull out a 116-108 victory. However, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 67 points. The good news is that both Curry and Thompson did not play well, shooting a combined two-for-15 from deep. This time around, it could be the Thunder getting the last laugh.

Game 7: Atlanta Hawks
After seeing them seven days prior, the Warriors will get their second and final look at the Hawks. With this being the first game back at Oracle in nearly a month, you can bet that the crowd will be rowdy, and the players will be excited. With the Warriors coming in to this game boasting a perfect 24-0 record at home this season, it would be a huge shock if the Hawks left Oakland with a win.

Game 8: Oklahoma City Thunder
Another match-up with a team the Warriors just saw will come when the Thunder stroll in to town. Of their remaining home games, this is one of the games that could put their home winning streak in jeopardy. If the Warriors hand the Thunder a loss on February 27th, OKC will be hungry for a victory.

Game 9: At Los Angeles Lakers
The Warriors will head back out on the road, this time for a quick one-game trip to see their Southern California rival, the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers currently sit at the bottom of the Western Conference with an 11-44 record. With the Warriors dominating the previous three match-ups, you could expect much of the same in Kobe Bryant‘s last game against Golden State.

Game 10: Orlando Magic
The very next night, the Warriors will head back up to the Bay to welcome in the Orlando Magic for the first time this season. If you remember, the last time the Magic were in this building, Curry ripped their hearts out with a dagger three to win the game at the buzzer. You know they’ll have that in the back of their mind when they show up for this one. With that being said, I think the Warriors will have no problem cruising past the Magic, who currently stand at 11th in the Eastern Conference.
