Cam vs Peyton. New School vs Old School. The 26 year old rising star versus the veteran leader battling his way through the end of a historic career. Does Cam, the presumed MVP, finish off his stellar season like good friend Stephen Curry, with a championship? Or does the 39 year old who could well be in his “last rodeo” potentially finish off his career hoisting the Lombardi Trophy for a second time?

Sure, the QB battle is always frontstage, capturing the attention of the media and fans alike. Deservedly so. It’s the most exciting comparison to make between any position in any sport. However, we have heard time and time again the cliche “Defense Wins Championships,” and it will surely apply to Super Bowl 50. Denver has had a historic season on the defensive side of the ball, and Carolina hasn’t been too shabby either.

Manning has continuously stated that the Broncos defense has lead this team to success. He is right, and they will pump the breaks on the high octane Carolina offense come Super Bowl 50 at Levis Stadium. It will be a close one, but Peyton rides off into retirement as a champion. Broncos 24, Panthers 20

Final. 20. 87. 24. 45
