  • You’re a good, moral human being, right? Then you probably find it difficult to root for the New England Patriots. After all the controversy through the years, from “Spygate” to “Deflategate” to the brand new “Headset Gate”, it’s become easy to loathe Tom Brady and the Patriots, and the way they do things.

Unless you’re a Patriots’ fan, what could possibly make you root for those no good, low down and dirty Pats? Well, maybe you want to see them stick it to the man. Roger Goodell has been a farce as the commissioner of the NFL, and his biggest adversaries are the ones that wear red, white and blue on Sundays.

The Patriots winning another Super Bowl, their fifth of the 21st century, would be Robert Kraft, Brady, and the rest of the organization flipping the metaphorical middle finger right in Goodell’s face. The only thing that would be better is that group flipping the literal middle finger in Goodell’s face. Since that isn’t likely to happen, the metaphorical version would have to work.

Or maybe you want to see Brady win his fifth Super Bowl, and match Charles Haley‘s record of five as a player. Either way, some good could come from the Patriots winning it all again.

And hey, they beat the Seahawks last year!
