Denver Broncos

Two years removed from the shellacking they received at the hands of the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII, the Denver Broncos are back in the AFC Championship Game looking for a chance at redemption. Now 39 years old, Peyton Manning is likely looking at his last opportunity to win his second Super Bowl.

One of the greatest to ever toss a football, Manning is at the tail end of his career, and though he has publicly said he’s not quite ready to retire yet, it’s becoming increasingly more obvious with each passing week that Father Time is winning his battle against Manning. Father Time is still undefeated, after all. With a great defense on the other side of the ball, a good running game and a strong group of receivers, all the tools are in play for Manning to double his Super Bowl ring collection.

The elder Manning trails his younger brother, Eli Manning, in the ring department, as the younger Manning has a pair on his hands. With how competitive the Manning brothers are, you can be certain that Peyton wants to knot up that race before he hangs up his pads for good.

If you’re a Dallas Cowboys’ fan looking for someone to root for, DeMarcus Ware‘s place in Denver should be enough to swing you that way. If you’re a fan of the Not Patriots, these Broncos are your team.
