The MLB offseason has been very busy, and teams have been moving and shaking for the better part of two months. Though things have slowed down around the holidays, there are still plenty of moves being made.

One of the most exciting things about the offseason is getting the news that your favorite team has signed a big time free agent, a new star to add to the roster. On the other hand, one of the worst feelings for a fan is watching one of your favorite players get signed away by a different team, leaving a void on the roster, and in a fan’s heart. This offseason has been no exception for the San Francisco Giants, on both fronts. They have signed two big name free agents, Johnny Cueto and Jeff Samardzija, but have also lost some players that have been around for a few years.

So far, the Giants have had to wave goodbye to seven players. Four of them had been with the team for multiple years, while the other three were Giants for a year or less. Each player had their moments in the sun with the team, and in the mood of the holiday spirit, let’s remember each of them for their best moments.
