The Raiders have had a few fantastic signal callers in their history. Daryle Lamonica, Rich Gannon, Jim Plunkett. But it’s Stabler who stands apart as the best to ever take snaps for the Silver and Black.

In ten seasons with the Raiders, Stabler threw for a little over 19,000 yards and 150 touchdowns. He also had his finest season as a pro in 1976, throwing for 2,737 yards and 27 touchdowns on 67 percent passing. Stabler compiled an 11-1 record in 12 starts during the regular season.

But he saved his best for last, compiling a 3-0 record and tossing four touchdowns on 61 percent passing in leading the Raiders to a victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl XI.
