The MLB offseason is always good for a lot of movement, and it can be hard to keep track of it all, so we’ve put it all here in one place.

Movement during the MLB offseason has been fast and furious, especially with the recently-concluded Winter Meetings taking place, and with all the wheeling and dealing going on, it can be extremely difficult to keep track of everything. Players are moving from team to team, through free agency and the trade market, and teams are beginning to look completely different from how they ended the season.

With that in mind, this (hopefully) handy guide to the offseason has been put together, including all the pertinent signings, trades, and other necessary information. The offseason is still young, and there will be many more moves made over the coming months, leading up to pitchers and catchers reporting on February 18th. This tracker will be updated frequently as the free agent market whittles and the trade market remains active.

Free agent signings (not including minor league contracts) and trades have been separated, and moves made by the local teams, the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics, will have their own separate pages, where minor league agreements will be included. The results of the Rule 5 Draft are included, and arbitration numbers will be added in January, when that process occurs. At the end, there will be a top-20 of still-available players, which will be updated as the big board clears.
