Despite dealing with injuries to key pieces all season, the San Francisco Giants are in the middle of a hunt for October. They are well within striking distance of the Los Angeles Dodgers for the National League West crown and there is plenty of season left to make up for the lost ground in the Wild Card race after being swept by the Chicago Cubs over the weekend.

Most postseason teams have players in the discussion for one or more of the end-of-season awards and the Giants are no exception.

Powered by their backstop, southpaw, surprising rookies, and manager, San Francisco’s success has carried over from 2014, affording some players the chance to add to their personal trophy case.
