All success stories — whether athletic or not — are inextricably bound by luck. The 2014-2015 Golden State Warriors are no exception. With the help of the Basketball Gods, Golden State relied upon their superior talent to carry them to the franchise’s first championship in four decades. While the Warriors struggled at times against LeBron James‘ Cleveland Cavaliers, the narrative of the entire season made it hard to believe the Cavaliers would be crowned champions — signs pointed towards a Warriors championship all season long.
