Golden State Warriors: This Season was Golden State’s All Along

All success stories — whether athletic or not — are inextricably bound by luck. Ask any successful professional how they managed to get to where they currently are and most will be quick to admit that luck played a huge role. That is not to say hard work and talent is not a part of success as it most definitely is (it’s somewhere around ten percent luck and twenty percent skill), but all champions have been helped along the way by good fortune
The 2014-2015 Golden State Warriors are no exception. With the help of the Basketball Gods, Golden State relied upon their superior talent to carry them to the franchise’s first championship in four decades. While the Warriors struggled at times against LeBron James‘ Cleveland Cavaliers, the narrative of the entire season made it hard to believe the Cavaliers would be crowned champions — signs pointed towards a Warriors championship all season long.
