For a team that takes pride in their defense, the Warriors could definitely take a look at Anderson when their pick comes around.

Anderson is a solid defender that utilizes his lateral quickness and natural length to bother ball handers and discourage perimeter shots. In addition to displaying great athletic ability, he’s also improved a great deal in the shooting department, showing that he could be a capable spot-up shooter at the NBA-level.

However, Anderson isn’t close to having the scoring versatility that Hunter or Vaughn have displayed, and his decision making is still a huge question mark. Also, his lack of a handle currently limits his upside, and he’ll certainly need to polish it up moving forward.

Nevertheless, having an athletic, lengthy defender on the wing that can hit spot-up jumpers fits the bill for the Warriors right now. They can worry about opening up his game more later down the road.
