Mickey wouldn’t be a great fit for the Warriors right now, but there’s potential he could grow into one. Offensively, Mickey could use some practice. He’s not a prolific inside scorer, and you can tell just by his numbers that his outside touch is rather lacking.

But on the defensive end, this dude is a beast.

Other than the fact he’s undersized to be a four, he proved in his last year at LSU that he could grow to be a versatile defender capable of guarding multiple positions. Though his impressive 7-foot-3-inch wingspan is certainly an eye opener, Mickey really put himself on the map at the Combine by posting high numbers in max vert (37.5 inches, 1st at the Combine), lane agility (11.80 seconds, 2nd at the Combine) and sprint speed (3.28, 7th at the Combine).

He’s quick on his feet, showing great defensive instincts in a variety of different scenarios (perimeter isolations, post isolations, pick-and-roll, etc.). Now if only he could develop an offensive game, there’d be no question he’d be a great pick at 30.
