Holmes has been connected to the Warriors via mock drafts for quite some time. Unlike the other aforementioned big men, Holmes’ game is pretty clear cut: a versatile, two-way big man with average athletic ability.

Offensively, Holmes is able to hit a number of shots both inside the paint and outside the arc. While his numbers don’t make him out to be much of a reliable long range gunner, the fact that he hit on roughly 33 percent of his looks has many believing that’s an area of a game that he can continue building upon.

Defensively, Holmes is a physical, scrappy defender that boasts good foot speed. He was a solid rebounder in college, and hopefully that ability is able to translate to the NBA. Much like the Warriors’ Green, there isn’t a question about his motor, but rather his ability to defend his position at the NBA level.
