Week 15: Green Bay Packers

Last season, the Packers came within one botched onside kick from heading to the Super Bowl. Instead, Green Bay blew it and the Seahawks held on for victory. To say that they’ll be playing with a big chip on their collective shoulders this season is a big understatement.

Green Bay has arguably, the best QB in the NFL today in Aaron Rodgers, and a tandem of receivers in Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb – whom McKenzie tried to throw a ton of money at before Cobb eventually decided to return to the Frozen Tundra.

But the Packers aren’t a one-dimensional team, and have a pretty terrific running back in Eddie Lacy, who ran for 1,139 yards and nine touchdowns in 2014.

The Packers offense is nicely balanced, and when it’s clicking, it can be downright scary.

As they did with the Steelers, the Raiders are going to have their hands full. While the defensive front will more than likely do a great job shutting down the run, the Raiders’ secondary is going to be tested all game long.

One would hope that by week 15, Hayden and Carrie will be battle tested enough to hold up against the onslaught of balls Rodgers will likely be putting in the air. One would hope that they continued working to improve their skills, and by week 15, will do a good job of keeping Cobb and Nelson in check throughout the game.

Because if they don’t, things could get out of hand rather quickly in Oakland.
