What do you give a team that averaged the most points per game during the regular season? More scoring.

Harvey led the NCAA in scoring in 2014, averaging 23.1 PPG. He averaged 2.6 APG, and 3.6 RPG to go along with it. He was a key cog in helping his Eastern Washington team win the Big Sky conference and make the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2004.

Harvey is an elite scorer, he would provide an offensive spark off the bench. He can be molded into a scoring sixth man in the form of a Jamal Crawford-type player.

The reason Harvey’s hype train isn’t higher is because he played out of the Big Sky Conference. The level of talent isn’t as high as the ACC or Big Ten, so Harvey’s scoring could potentially be flawed. Although there isn’t a large sample of play against big name teams, Harvey was able to put up 27 points against Georgetown in the NCAA tournament.

Harvey is a big time scoring threat. Putting him on a team that averages 110 points a night would be a lethal combination. Giving the Warriors a proven scorer off the bench would make Harvey a great pick, and a pick that could make the already rich Warriors, even richer.
